Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026. Please read these terms carefully before creating a contract on Dronotix.
1. The role of Dronotix
Dronotix acts solely as a neutral escrow custodian for cryptocurrency transactions between a buyer and a vendor. We are not a party to the underlying agreement for goods or services — that contract exists between the buyer and vendor. Our role is limited to holding funds and releasing them according to confirmed contract terms.
2. Contract creation and funding
Buyers are responsible for accurately describing the goods or services, price, and delivery terms when creating a contract. Once a contract is funded, the deposited cryptocurrency is held in a dedicated escrow wallet and cannot be withdrawn by either party outside of the release or refund process described in these terms.
3. Contract codes
The contract code generated upon funding is the sole mechanism for vendor confirmation. Vendors should never begin work or shipment without first confirming a valid contract code through the Dronotix platform. Dronotix is not responsible for losses resulting from work performed without a confirmed contract code.
4. Fund release
Funds are released to the vendor's confirmed wallet address only when the buyer voluntarily approves release, or when Dronotix resolves a dispute in the vendor's favor. Released cryptocurrency transactions are final and irreversible once broadcast to the relevant network.
5. Disputes
Either party may open a dispute prior to fund release. Dronotix will review the original contract terms and any evidence submitted by both parties to make a release determination. Dronotix's dispute decisions are made in good faith based on available evidence and are final.
6. Fees
Escrow fees are calculated based on contract value as published on our Services page and are deducted automatically from escrowed funds at the time of release. Fee schedules may be updated; the rate in effect at the time of contract funding applies for that contract.
7. No investment advice
Dronotix does not provide financial, legal, or tax advice. Users are responsible for understanding the value and volatility risks of any cryptocurrency used in a contract.
8. Limitation of liability
Dronotix is not liable for losses arising from inaccurate contract terms submitted by users, third-party wallet or network failures, or actions taken by either party outside the confirmed contract flow.
